"A good introduction to ESL methodology!" --Pilot Session Attendee, Chinatown ESL

Piloted in the spring of 2009, the ESL Certificate is now available for all PBHA and PSN affiliates! Focused on teaching adult learners, the four hour workshop provides concrete tools and opportunities for hands-on practice, as well as an introduction to more theoretical teaching methodologies. The course covers the following topics:

-The Learner and You (Working with Adult Learners)
-Second Language Aquisition
-Language Teaching Methodology and Strategy
-Lesson Planning and Teach Backs
